Big Church Away Day

What is it?

Big Church Away Day is an opportunity for our church family to come together for a day of worship, teaching and fellowship. It’s a time to deepen our faith, connect with one another and be refreshed in His presence. There will be delicious food and a variety of afternoon activities for all ages.

The schedule will include a morning service, afternoon activities and an evening service. Both lunch and dinner will be provided, along with refreshments throughout the day. There will be a more detailed schedule provided nearer the event.

Guest Speaker - Simon Guillebaud

Simon Guillebaud is a British missionary, author and speaker known for his work in Burundi, where he has spent years serving communities through evangelism, discipleship and social transformation projects. He founded Great Lakes Outreach (GLO), an organization dedicated to empowering local leaders and ministries to bring lasting change in the region.

A passionate advocate for faith in action, Simon has written several books, including Dangerously Alive, Choose Life and Sacrifice, sharing powerful stories of resilience, hope and God’s work in challenging environments. His speaking engagements take him around the world, inspiring individuals and churches to live boldly for Christ.

Simon’s work has been shaped by his deep commitment to justice, reconciliation and making the gospel tangible in difficult places. Despite facing significant dangers and hardships, he continues to champion a message of radical faith and sacrificial love.
