Trees & Angels Festival

We look forward to the return of Gerard Le Feuvre and the Kings Chamber Orchestra when we will host the Trees and Angels Festival.  This will include an open exhibition by local artists and three concerts on 13, 14 and 15 June. 

Why Trees & Angels?

The Festival's theme is inspired by our beautiful surroundings in Chorleywood and the special project in Ukraine which KCO has supported since the start of the war and for which KCO recorded this music video at St Andrews

Thursday 13th June

Come and join us for the beginning of this festival of the Arts, the exhibition will be open from 6pm with live music, refreshments and short talk. This will be followed by a concert in support of the project in Ukraine.

6 - 7pm -  Festival and Exhibition launch with free entry.
7.30pm - Concert including KCO Folk Musicians and the Chorleywood Community Choir

Friday 14th June

The festival will continue with the exhibition again open from 6pm followed by a Piano Duet Recital in the evening.

11am - 3pm & 6 - 7pm -  Free entry to Exhibition with refreshments
7.30pm - Celebrity Piano Duet Recital: Distinguished pianists Nigel Clayton and Imma Setiadi perform Gustav Holst’s The Planets in his 150th anniversary year, and a few entertaining surprises beyond!

Saturday 15th June

As we come to the end of the Festival we will celebrate with the biggest day yet. From 10am we will have a Cafe open alongside the exhibtion as well as a craft area for children to create their own ‘Trees & Angels’ art. The festival will finish in the evening with the Gala Concert.

10am - 1pm -  Cafe open with free entry to Exhibition and live music. Craft area for children to create their own Trees & Angels art.
7.30pm - Gala Concert with the Kings Chamber Orchestra including Oscar Wilde’s “The Selfish Giant” for Narrator and Orchestra
